O-I BJC MALAYSIA ACTIVELY PROMOTES A RECYCLING CULTURE THROUGH THE GLASS AMBASSADOR PROJECT

Every Wednesday, O-I BJC Malaysia encourages employees to bring used glass bottles to the recycling collection station at Plant (Johor Bahru) to earn reward points. All collected bottles are sent for recycling and transformed into raw materials for brand-new glass packaging products.

This initiative not only helps foster the habit of collecting and recycling glass among employees but also spreads the spirit of environmental protection and sustainable living throughout the organization.

Since its launch in mid-June 2025, the program has received enthusiastic participation from O-I BJCers Malaysia, successfully collecting nearly 1.5 tons of glass by the end of September 2025.

In addition to the internal Glass Ambassador initiative, O-I BJC is also working to expand this meaningful program to the wider community.
