O-I BJCERS COLLECTED 510 KG OF GLASS IN JUST UNDER 10 DAYS

The Go Glass – Go Green Environment Week (June 5–13) received enthusiastic participation from O-I BJC employees, with 510 kg of glass bottles collected in just over a week – raising the total amount of glass collected internally to 3.6 tons over the past four months.

Beyond glass collection, employees also actively planted trees, helping to green the factory premises and spread the message of sustainable and eco-friendly living.

“I’m very excited about the environmental activities our company is promoting. My family members have also supported by collecting glass bottles from neighbors to bring to the company and exchange for gifts.” - said by Ms. Hien Truong, O-I BJC employee.

With the spirit of “Every employee is a Glass Ambassador”, O-I BJC continues to roll out activities that raise awareness of glass recycling within the company – and from there, spread green habits to families, friends, and the wider community.
