HCMUT STUDENTS EXPLORE THE GLASS MANUFACTURING JOURNEY

On June 27, O-I BJC welcomed a group of talented students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) to visit and explore the production activities at the O-I BJC Vung Tau plant.
This visit was part of the Glass Ambassador Challenge (GAC) – a competition co-organized by O-I BJC and HCMUT, under the University–Industry (U-I) category of the Bach Khoa Innovation 2025 contest.
The participants of this tour were students who had successfully shortlisted to Round 2 of the competition – promising young minds expected to bring innovative and impactful ideas to the glass collection journey.
Beyond offering firsthand insights into the glass manufacturing process, the visit also provided students with a clearer understanding of the glass collection and recycling initiatives currently being implemented by O-I BJC. This valuable exposure is expected to help them develop practical and business-aligned solutions.
