Continuing the journey of the Glass Ambassador Project, BJC Glass Vietnam is partnering with AEON Mall to launch the green booth “Recycle Glass For Gifts.” The program takes place from May 30 to June 7, 2026, at AEON Mall Binh Duong and collects nearly 200kgs of recycle glass!

Kick Off New Glass Collection Hub

O-I BJC Vietnam, in collaboration with the REE Management Board, has launched a new glass collection hub at the REE Tower - 9 Doan Van Bo Street, Xom Chieu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly District 4). The Kick Off Day also organize "Exchange Glass for Gifts" program for office employees at REE & E-Town. After the that, the program collects almost 100 kgs of recycled glass.

MM Mega Market Vietnam is a strategic partner of O-I BJC in jointly implementing initiatives toward sustainable development. Since officially signing the partnership in August 2024, the two parties have collaborated on numerous glass collection-for-gifts programs, while also establishing glass collection stations at MM retail locations, including MM An Phu, MM Binh Phu, and MM Hiep Phu, contributing to the promotion of glass collection and recycling within the community.

The “Go Glass – Go Green” Week was launched by O-I BJC for internal members to promote eco-conscious living in celebration of World Environment Day. A series of inspiring activities - such as the “Exchange Glass for Gifts” exchange program, a sharing session about the Glass Journey for senior managers, and tree planting events to green the factory campus - received enthusiastic participation.

After the event, O-I BJC Glass collect ~ 1 tons of glass from surrounded community.

O-I BJC’s Booth at MM Mega Market has attracted strong attention from the local community after just the first 3 days of operation.

Residents have eagerly joined the initiative, knowing that with a simple action – bringing used glass containers to exchange for eco-friendly gifts – they are contributing to environmental protection and promoting a greener lifestyle.

Many families, especially homemakers and young people, have proactively collected glass at home to take part in the program. The practical and eco-conscious gifts such as notebooks and recycled pens, biodegradable bags, and upcycled canvas tote bags have also been a big draw, keeping the booth bustling with activity.

The Green Booth by O-I BJC at MM Mega Market An Phu successfully collected nearly 200kg of recycled glass after just one week of operation, from May 19 to May 25, 2025. This is an impressive result, reflecting the growing community support for the sustainable recycling efforts led by O-I BJC and MM Mega Market Vietnam.
